02/26/12 – Beginner's Mechanics Clinic #6 – EDH Area Umpire Clinic @ Oak Meadow Elementary School – noon - 4:00pm (2 umpire system – Beg Level) 

Beginner's Mechanics Clinic #6 @ Oak Meadows Elementary School (EDHLL host) noon – 4:00pm

12:15 – 1:00 Group Demos
1:00 – 2:00 Rotation #11:00 – 1:20 Session #1
1:20 – 1:40 Session #2
1:40 – 2:00 Session #3P1: (60ft mechanics) (This session uses a split station format – a & b below)

Specialty plate mechanics

PU movement on ground balls on infield (no one on base) 
Special plays on infield from starting position A:
• F1 covers
• F3 covers unassisted
• Right side “pressure”
• Pull foot toward RF corner
• Pull foot toward home plate with “swipe” tag
• Pop-up around starting position A
• Clear F3 on pop-up down RF lineB4: (60ft mechanics only) (This session uses a split station format – a & b below)B4: (Location: Stadium Right-Field Line) (approx. 20 min each) On base hit – “inside-out” rule – “working area” development 
Rotation on base hits:
• R1 to 3rd 
• R3 & R1 with R1 to 3rd
• R2 & R1 – R2 tags & advances to 3rd (unless in 10% down RF line)
