3 Umpire Mechanics Clinic @ CHP Academy

This clinic is aimed at the umpire who will be working the 3 umpire mechanics system.  (4 umpire mechanics system will be discussed in concept if time permits and upon student request.)

The clinic will focus on mechanics, coverage, and responsibilities.

Dress comfortably and be prepared for possible athletic activity. Please bring a sack lunch, full sized notebook or binder, smaller note pad, pencil and/or pen, and plenty of bottled water.

The instruction will be conducted using small groups and a workshop format.  We will be in a classroom setting and conduct outdoor practice drills if time permits on a nearby black top area.

IMPORTANT: Please check in at the front security gate (this is a 24/7 secure facility).  Please have the following information available at that time: your drivers license, current registration and proof of insurance.

Follow the signs directing you to the clinic area. Please conduct yourself in a responsible way.  Please do not venture outside of our instruction areas. 

Remember: This is a secure facility and there are many restricted areas on site.  You will be subject to detention and arrest if you venture outside our instruction areas.  You could also jeopardize our ability to use this facility in the future for our clinic work.
