Students of the clinic, here is place to ask questions or give feedback on the NOV 9-11TH

Nov Umpire Clinic

I still practice "the basic six."

The instructors "made this clinic!" Gary could have a fine career as a Drill Sergent if he wanted. (Maybe he already has..??)

Swanny, Gary, Dan(s), Steve and many other instructors made the weekend enjoyable, entertaining, and some other adjective that begins with an "e."

Seriously, this was one clinic that actually lived up to its billing. A great deal of information on proper mechanics, positioning, strike zone knowledge, and professional conduct on the field was presented, demonstrated, and practiced. The "umpire-students" were appropriately tasked to perform proper mechanics and display a basic understanding of the material presented and the Instructors mixed in enough humor with the instruction to make the weekend interesting and fun.

I, obviously, have some mental flaw in my genetic make-up because I had a lot of fun over those three (rainy, cloud-covered) days in November.

Thank You to Bill Carter, Gary (well done), and Section 4 for providing this excellent opportunity to become better Umpires.
